Impact Assessment now available

The third deliverable Impact Assessment is now available on the website. The Impact Assessment shows cycling statistics of the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Czech Republic. Futher, a a cost benefit analysis is made for 11 applications for safer cycling. Final conference in Vienna a success

The final conference in Vienna was a great success. More than 35 cycling, road safety and ITS experts attended the conference. Main topics were the potential of ITS applications for cycling and recommendations. SAFECYCLE held a presentation at the World Cycling Research Forum, held in Enschede (Netherlands) on 13th and 14th of September 2012. SAFECYCLE at Cycling and Society London

On 3rd and 4th of September SAFECYCLE presented a poster at the Cycling and Society Annual Symposium in London. It is an informal and interdisciplinary event for academics, policy makers and advocates to share research, knowledge and experience of any topic related to cycling. The SAFECYCLE project team is looking for cycling and road safety experts!

At this moment we are working on an impact assessment in which we are trying to assess the impact of 11 e-safety applications on road safety for cyclists.
